This project was a live brief presented by One Space Media. The goal was to create a brand identity alongside brand guidelines for Desturi Safari, a luxury safari experience tailor-made for each individual client. Due to the bespoke nature of the brand I believed it best to go down the path of personalisation and I have done this through the means of stars. Each star is ‘One in a Million’ therefore each customer will be treated to their own custom-made holiday.
My logo has been designed with this in mind; the constellation star pattern I have created forms a rough outline of Africa symbolising where Desturi is based. I have also created a bespoke type variation to go with the logo where I have replaced the dots on the ‘I’ with small simplified vector stars to enhance the luxury feel of the brand.
I have chosen to use the main frame of a deep purple I have called Desturi Purple due to its luxurious feel and relaxing nature when contrasted to the silver I have used as the main logo colour. These colours also replicate from the deep purple of an African night sky further reminiscent of night time peace and tranquility.
